illy continues in its project to create tools in collaboration with famous Italian architects anddesigners: our work with Paola Navone resulted in the creation of the “Ombra” line of spoons,while Studio Thun helped us design our new, concave spoons. “Ombra” is a stainless steelspoon named for its flat shape, a true design object representing shadow (“ombra”) itself.The new Studio Thun design spoons, also in stainless steel and available in two differentformats (104 mm and 160 mm), are particularly well suited to drawing coffee from the cupthanks to their special concave design.
